We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our fast-growing company. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, takes initiative to resolve issues, and is skilled in developing and maintaining workplace and customer relationships.
Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient office & project operations.
- Maintains physical and digital filing systems.
- Answers phone calls, schedules appointments, signs for incoming packages, and assists clients with any inquiries or issues.
- Responds to emails and other digital queries and correspondence.
- Prepares meeting agendas and takes meeting minutes.
- Coordinates weekly meetings
- Keeps the office organized and clean by doing light cleaning duties.
- Ensures that deadlines are met and adapts to changing priorities.
- Presents a positive and professional image for the organization.
Work Hours and Compensation: This role is starting as a part-time position of 2-3 days a week with a flexible weekday schedule. The starting hourly rate is $18.00hr. This role has the capacity to grow as the business continues to grow.
Administrative Assistant Skills:
- Data management and entry skills, & maintain and improve filing systems
- Time management, multitasking, accountable to attendance, and organized
- Interpersonal skills, professional and courteous demeanor, excellent office and phone etiquette, and the ability to diffuse tense situations
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Ability to work well independently and in collaboration with others
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, associate’s degree a plus
- Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) or Microsoft Office Specialist(MOS) certification a plus
- Past administrative experience or tenure in an office setting a plus
