Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the Director of Research and Evaluation, Manager of Quality Supports and Evaluation, and Quality Supports and Quality Training Specialists. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for training logistics. The Administrative Assistant will also be responsible for supporting the Program Administration Scale (PAS) and Business Administration Scale for Family Child Care (BAS) certification and recertification processes. In addition, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for online module customer support and tracking of module completion. Duties require a broad range of technical and interpersonal skills including advanced word processing, writing and editing, complex data entry, excellent customer service skills, and editing ability
Essential Responsibilities:- TRAINING LOGISTICS AND SUPPORT: The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for training logistics (e.g., organizing, storage, packing boxes, shipping, coordinating copying and collating, booking reservations, ordering). The Administrative Assistant will serve as the primary contact for training participants. The Administrative Assistant will create training materials, maintain and update the Professional Learning Team publications and website pages, assist in the production of training videos and online module content, transcribe interviews, take meeting minutes, oversee the PAS.BAS@nl.ed email account, and enter, archive, and gather data for reports.
PAS AND BAS ASSESSOR CERTIFICATION AND RECERTIFICATION: The Administrative Assistant will process and review assessments for missing information and errors, monitor the collection of missing information, enter data, and prepare and mail reports, letters, certificates, and feedback. The Administrative Assistant will assist with webinar logistics, maintain website information, send renewal date updates.
GENERAL OFFICE SUPPORT: Represent the Center in a professional and ethical manner and assist with other duties as assigned.
- Associate Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- One to three (1-3) years Administrative Assistant experience.
- One to three (1-3) years working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

Speaks in a clear and credible manner, selecting the right tone for the situation and audience. Listens to others and allows them to make their point.
