Landry's has an open position for an Administrative Assistantat our Corporate Headquarters in the Galleria area of Houston, TX. We need high caliber, experienced individuals to join our organization.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: This role will provide administrative support to the Senior Vice President/COO of Operations team and Department.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answer and direct incoming calls on a multiline phone system, coordinate calendars/schedules for meetings and conference calls, maintain an organized electronic filing system, SharePoint and Teams sites.
- Manage office, conference room and break area supplies, maintenance, and organization.
- Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, responsible for data entry, photocopying and other administrative duties.
- Obtain approvals for and process travel arrangements, invoices, expense reports, salary increases, promotions, and all other personnel changes as directed by regional teams, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
- Reviews and reconciles Company credit card statements and receipts.
- Provide administrative support to 150+ restaurant locations for all IT hardware, software, and telecommunications requests.
Requirements: Include strong office administrative skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, professional written and verbal communication, ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, and possess a sense of urgency.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or restaurant manager
- Prior restaurant experience is a plus
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work in a multi-tasking, hands-on environment. Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals; listens carefully and has the ability to perform as a team member.
