We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to provide crucial support to our technology driven entertainment law firm. The ideal candidate will assist our legal team with a variety of tasks, including document preparation, research, client communication, and administrative support. Proficiency in Microsoft and Google tools is essential for this role. Training will be provided. This position plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal practice and delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and format legal documents, day to day contracts, and correspondence under the supervision of attorneys. Assist in the review of contracts, agreements, and legal documents, highlighting key points and potential issues with Google Docs and Google Sheets.
Organize and maintain legal files, including court documents and client records using Google Drive for easy retrieval.
Interact with clients, schedule meetings, and manage appointments using Google Calendar and Gmail to ensure effective communication with the our staff.
Manage day-to-day office tasks, including phone calls, emails, and scheduling through GoogleCalendar, maintaining an efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, and Gmail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace is a plus but not required.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of confidentiality and ethical standards in legal practice.
