Master Halco, the largest manufacturer/distributor of fencing products in North America, has an immediate opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to support our Gate Production Facility in Dallas.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Assists the production planner on item creation for open orders
- Assists the production planner on bill of Material (BOM) generation
- Assists the production planner on work order creation (MO)
- Assists the production planner in distributing work orders to the production floor
- Ensures order accuracy. Processes ship confirmations
- Assists in scheduling deliveries as needed
- Receives incoming calls, answers questions, and refers calls to appropriate individuals
- Process all incoming and outgoing mail – including sorting, distribution, stamping, and answering routine correspondence
- Process and coordinate orders for delivery, FedEx, shipments, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent (some college preferred)
- 2 – 5 years of General Office experience
- Previous experience with traffic dispatching and transportation coordination
- Strong customer service and quality orientation
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Excellent computer skills (M3 Infor experience a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to handle information that needs to remain confidential
