DigitalOptometrics is a fast-growing, innovative company that provides a comprehensive eye exam to patients using our patented remote technology. We are seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our growing accounting department at our Lake Success office.
This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for all accounting functions in the office, in addition to financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in all accounting activities within an office and must have exceptional time management, organization skills, as well as successfully balance progress on strategic projects with day-to-day responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily posting of cash receipts.
- Initiate/Record ACH Payments.
- Prepare Accounts Payable Recommended Selections for approval of CFO.
- ACH setup for new Sites.
- Prepare recommendation for approval of CFO for Equipment Invoices for payment.
- End-of-Month reconciliation of Sales Tax Report, Tax vs Non-Tax.
- Accounts Receivable Aging Review and assist in Collection Efforts.
- Monitor bank balances and cash requirements and compare with cash flow budget.
- Assist CFO in performance of special project requests.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in an accounting department.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups and charts.
- Agility in learning various software including accounting software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment.
- High level of flexibility, agility, and responsiveness in meeting deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business operations and/or accounting and/or business analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups and charts.
- Agility in learning various software including Accounting software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
