Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Community Engagement & Development, the Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC) is responsible for executing social media marketing campaigns to raise public awareness of AARC social, prevention and clinical services. This role heavily involves content creation and graphic design to enhance engagement and awareness. The CEC supports marketing, event planning, fundraising and outreach. The CEC demonstrates expertise and compassion for health and social equity issues related to HIV and LGBTQ communities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Plan, create, and publish engaging content weekly—including original text, images, and videos—to build meaningful connections and boost client/patient referrals.
· Support email marketing campaigns to effectively reach our audience and promote agency services and events.
· Analyze the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
· Develop and design agency print materials such as brochures and event flyers
· Collaborate with marketing partners to maintain a consistent brand voice and adhere to AARC brand guidelines in digital content development.
· Engage with followers, promptly respond to inquiries, and monitor customer reviews to maintain positive online presence.
· Assist in event planning, fundraising activities, and execution in support of agency initiatives.
· Represent the agency at community events to network and promote agency services
· Assist the Director of Community Engagement and Development in various tasks and projects as needed to further the organization goals and initiatives.
· Performs any miscellaneous work assignments or special projects as may be required.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) or equivalent digital media editing tools.
· Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
· Excellent attention to detail with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
· Excellent written and verbal skills.
Education & Experience:
· 2-3 years of social media/marketing experience, including graphic design proficiency.
· Knowledge of Sexual Health, HIV prevention, treatment, and LGBT social & health issues.
· Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
· In-depth knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other popular social channels.

Work Schedule:
· Regular schedule Monday to Friday 8AM - 4:30PM
Some evenings and weekends

Requirements:
· Must maintain a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of the Company’s auto insurance carrier if you drive company owned vehicle or your personal vehicle during company business.
