Your profile

• High School Graduate
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or business-related field prefered
• Knowledge of related computer skills in Outlook, Excel
• Working knowledge of/experience with SAP and Cargowise an advantage
• Overall understanding of generally accepted accounting principles

Your Duties

• Manage Accounts Payable people and processes to ensure vendor accounts are "Clean and Current."
• Organize and evenly distribute workload to team members to ensure timely input, prioritizing work as required
• Processing a given range of vendor invoices in SAP. May include agent invoices from overseas partners in various currencies
• Working with vendors to ensure we have complete data and documentation (all invoices and credit notes accounted for)
• Ensure AP-related internal controls are followed, i.e, invoices are properly approved timely.
• Lead time to reconcile discrepancies on vendor accounts, using problem-solving and resolution skills with vendors and operations team
• Reporting key metrics and escalating key issues to management when needed
• Using independent judgement and discretion to ensure vendors are paid timely and accurately
• Show initiative when handling problems and work with the team on resolutions
