Accounts Receivable Specialist

Now hiring a a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our apparel brand based in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles client. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely posting of cash reconciliations for our clients growing business. This role is in office Monday - Mriday

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform daily reconciliations of cash receipts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Post and allocate customer payments accurately and efficiently.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to Accounts Receivable.
• Work closely with internal teams to address customer inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency in the Accounts Receivable function.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role, preferably in the fashion industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with [specific software if applicable] is a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in cash reconciliations is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Able to work in office Monday - Friday in DTLA
