Form of workSeeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist at a full service commercial real estate firm in the Baltimore area!
Position Summary:
- Manage cash application and ensure all cash receipts are applied properly.
- Review of tenant ledgers
- Prepare, send, and track tenant/landlord documentation
- Process all tenant move-outs, including processing security deposit refunds
- Process all tenant ACH payments and post to account accordingly.
- Monitor for payments wired through bank
- Research and resolve unapplied/unidentified cash receipts
- Process tenant pre-payments monthly.
- Scan all checks to bank utilizing check scanner verifying that scanned batch total equals total in accounting systems batch.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years work experience in Accounts Receivable
- Knowledge of basic accounting, including but not limited to, Accounts Receivable, accounts payable, general ledgers and tenant ledgers
- Use of Microsoft SharePoint and Yardi are a plus
- Must be comfortable working with clients
- Valid Drivers license required
