Class Description
Monitoring and collection of the outstanding student account balances. Assisting students with payment plans and monitoring the balances of student accounts. Overseeing the students with all forms of Con Ed Funding (Pell, GEER, HEERF, Opportunity Grant, Americorp, Amazon, DORS, WIOA and any third party company payment for open enrollment registrations.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma with three (3) years' experience working with Accounts Receivable and financial management systems. Prior experience working in an academic setting preferred. Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications/software and an intermediate skill level of Excel required.

Class Specific Essential Duties

1. Generate invoices and process payments.
2. Perform dunning for students.
3. Research and verify student account information and verify accuracy of data in financial management systems.
4. Develop and maintain spreadsheets for tracking collections.
5. Review monthly reports and process adjustments on accounts.
6. Assist and provide information to students related to refunds, tuition, fees, and transition programs.
7. Research problems and communicate with students, parents, third party vendors, and the college community to resolve issues

Position Specific Essential Duties

1. Coordinate billing of all student receivables.
2. Perform dunning for student receivables.
3. Process adjustments to student accounts.
4. Submit monthly reports of outstanding student receivables.
5. Work with Financial Aid Associates regarding the Continuing Education students with Pell Grants.

6. Verify all Continuing Education student's Grant information, and monitoring the disbursement of the funding.
7. Audit the student progress for submission discussion with students and Financial Aid.
8. Assist students with payment plans, Pell Grant and other Grant recipients.
9. Register students in the LEAP program and apply detail code. Notify Grants Accountant for LEAP.
10. Administer book vouchers for all students receiving CE Financial Aid.
