Headfarmer is representing an e-commerce company located in downtown Phoenix. This company is looking to bring on an experienced Accounts Receivables professional to join their growing team. Below are the responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Generate and distribute accurate and timely customer invoices
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer balances
- Process customer payments and allocate them to the appropriate accounts
- Investigate and resolve customer billing issues or discrepancies
- Process many forms of payment, credit cards, ACH, etc.
- Cash applications, cash receipts, sales tax
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Prepare and send regular statements to customers
- Perform reconciliations of Accounts Receivable ledgers
- Assist with month-end closing activities as required
Required/Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance (Preferred)
- Experience working with Great Plains
- Weekly meetings presenting AR status to the CEO. Have to be comfortable speaking effectively about your findings
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
