Local non profit organization in the farmington valley is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Bookkeeper to join the business office and support the Controller with accounting activities and managing their accounts receivable and billing process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that wants to be a part of an organization that offers work-life-balance (30-35 hours/week schedule), family oriented, strong tenured staff(most have been there 10+ years!).
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the billing accounts
- Preparing deposits and processing checks
- Prepare receipts
- Post billing and accounts receivable daily
- Monitor accounts for missing payments
- Reconciling accounts to general ledger
- Answer questions as it relates to accounts
- Reporting for Controller and CFO
- Assist with audits
- Partner with business office on general accounting projects
- Administrative Support as needed
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or bookkeeping.
