Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Position Type: Long -Term Contract

Location: Remote

The Role:

Madiba is currently in search of an SAP FICO Consultant for a 6-12 month remote project. The role will be responsible for supporting and implementing global SAP FICO solutions as well as playing key role as a technical lead and cross-functional costing and finance expert throughout the lifecycle of projects and production support.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Senior SAP FICO functional experience and excellent understanding of finance business processes
• Knowledge of Accounting/Finance business processes and of SAP FICO integration with SD, MM, WM, QM, and PP
• Experience working with Operations and Finance business stakeholders to manage solution delivery through the development lifecycle, provide training and guidance, and create process and training documents
• Solution designing and support experience in financial reporting, profitability reports and COPA, cost planning and budgeting, product costing, integration with MM, SD, PP modules asset accounting, and profit center accounting
• Gather requirements, perform analysis, writing functional specifications, designing and configuring system and, leading training, developing system documentation, and interface solutions
• Perform and lead system testing
• Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Integration point configuration experience
• Strong knowledge of ASAP Methodology, System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), service-oriented architecture and Enterprise Application Integration tools
• Experience with controls-based environment with ITAR and SOX experience
• Ability to effectively coordinate and manage cross-functional and technical activities with strong negotiation and leadership skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8-10 years relevant experience supporting and implementing global FICO solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Information Systems
• Excellent COPA and Product Costings experience is desired
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is desired
• Pharma, Biotech or Manufacturing Environment experience is highly desired
• CPA, Chartered ACC or related certification a plus
• Certification in SAP FI/CO and other modules is highly desired

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $110.00 - $135.00 per hour
