POSITION SUMMARY
Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service by processing vendor billing payments as received by mail, telephone, fax, e-mail or personally from customer or company employee, for all internal and external company customers and by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as members within the Customer Service Department. Partners with Sales Representatives to provide customers with service, addressing customer issues, and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Summary: Performs accounting functions by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Apply customer payments.
- Research and solve payment discrepancies.
- Process credit card payments and credits.
- Make adjustments to accounts as needed.
- Post daily manual deposits.
- Initiate file maintenance for corrections to computer’s customer file
- Work to resolve disputed credit items.
- Provide timely feedback to Credit Manager regarding customer credit concerns.
- Maintain filing system.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification/Requirements: 5+ years experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Excellent communication skills
- Good grammar, voice and diction
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills
- Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful)
