We are looking for an Office Administrator for our Accounts Payable and Payroll Department. This person should be proficient in Quickbooks and have knowledge in accounts receivable, accounts payable and time card entry. The position entails collecting, coding & entering all bills, receipts & credit card charges. The position requires an understanding of sales tax exemptions, certificates of insurance & W-9 information for our vendors.
Timecard Review & Entry:
Collect & enter all detailed timesheets for up to 70 employees
Reconcile daily time in excel
Collect and record all time off information for each employee
Accounts Payable Clerk responsibilities include:
Collect, code out & enter all bills, receipts & credit card charges.
Prepare bills for payment
Keep track of sales tax exemptions, certificates of insurance & W9 information
Phone support to customers, this includes answering customer questions and knowledge of all landscape & maintenance jobs.
Ability to be crossed trained for accounts receivables.
Skills:
Proficiency in Quickbooks.
Experience in accounting/payroll.
Landscape knowledge preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office. (MS Excel & MS Outlook in particular)
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Attention to detail & problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational & planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
