Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Reports to: Corporate Controller

Classification: Full-Time Hourly, Non-Exempt

Location: Wichita, KS on-site (not remote)

The Accounts Payable Clerk is an integral part of the PK Finance Team, responsible for supporting 5 growing, established companies and expense management.

Position Overview:

As an Accounts Payable Clerk at PK Companies, you will play a critical role in managing our company's financial transactions. You will be responsible for accurately processing and recording invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to our vendors and suppliers. This role will also oversee the expense management of the company credit cards in Concur. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail to support our finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
• Verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
• Ensure all invoices are properly coded, categorized, and approved.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process electronic payments and checks.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payment-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable or related financial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar), Concur, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
