This is a Temp to Hire opportunity
100% On-Site in San Jose, CA.
No remote, No Hybrid
Job Title: Staff Accountant
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
-Fill out credit applications
-Obtain W-9 and enter in to QuickBooks
-Process invoices from vendors
-Schedule payments to vendors
-Contact vendors to request invoices, confirm rates, request adjustments
-Check monthly statements from vendors
-Create expense claims, per-diem, and allowances forms
-Enter financial transactions into internal databases
-Generate accounting reports
-Reconcile corporate credit card receipts from employees
-Initiate wire and ACH transactions and bank transfer
-Conduct monthly bank reconciliation
-Prepare bank deposit
-Review and record payroll transactions
-Issue invoices to customers
-File and pay union dues
-Process certified payrolls
-Appy and update business licenses
-File taxes
Requirements:
-5+ years of work experience in accounting field
-Bachelor’s degree
-Strong organizational skills
-Good math skills and the ability to spot errors
-Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
-Proficient in MS Office
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
