The Accounts Payable Specialist is one of those key positions.

With approximately twenty employees, Green Innovations is not a large organization with multiple levels of management. Our business model and employees allow us to do a lot of business without a lot of people. We are looking for people that can handle a large workload. The accounting department currently consists of three positions, and this position is the only one in Accounts Payable. Therefore, you will be the main person responsible for completing the payables work. In other words, this is not a management position. That being said, the opportunity for growth and advancement absolutely exists at Green Innovations for the right candidate at this position.

About the Job

The Accounts Payable Specialist is primarily responsible for the day-to-day processing of the Company’s payables. Typical job responsibilities are listed below:

• Processing vendor invoices into both the Lotus Notes ERP and QuickBooks online.
• Resolving invoice discrepancies with vendors.
• Data entry of transactional information into Lotus Notes ERP.
• Assisting in certain general ledger functions and month-end closing procedures.
• Setting up new suppliers in QuickBooks.
• Maintaining vendor master files.
• Processing weekly check runs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
