Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist

A Willoughby-based photogrammetric services firm is searching for a detail-oriented, motivated Accounts Payable/Payroll professional to join our team. Job responsibilities include:

· Process accounts payable invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner.

· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.

· Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.

· Prepare financial reports related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.

· Process employee time cards and time management system, manage benefits and process payroll.

· Work closely with outside accounting in preparing annual financial statements and processing payments.

Skills:

· Proficiency in QuickBooks and ADP

· Knowledge of benefits administration processes is a plus

· Experience with journal entries and general ledger reconciliation

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

· Strong knowledge of debits, credits and general accounting principles and regulations

· Knowledge of corporate accounting practices and procedures

· Ability to analyze financial concepts and perform accurate calculations.
