Position Summary
We are looking for a person to support our program directors and accounting department to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely processing of Accounts Payable. This unique position will be a key leader in helping design and implement streamlined processes with innovation, patience and attention to detail being important key attributes. This position is full-time and in-person, located in Des Plaines, IL.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide insight and expertise to assist in the design and implementation of automating processes related to the Accounts Payable. Embrace state of the art technology (including AI) and work to adapt technology to business needs.
- Process all Accounts Payable on a weekly basis accurately and timely.
- Define and uphold a culture of service and dependability to Maryville programs, departments, and vendors.
- Gain understanding of all Maryville programs serving children and families throughout the Chicagoland area to manage appropriate approvals and build insight into expenses through inquiry and reporting.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies; manage evolution of procedures for continual improvement.
Job Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, or commensurate experience
- Intermediate or advanced excel skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Professional and friendly written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in strong customer service skills toward internal and external stakeholders
- Strong process improvement experience with full understanding of internal controls.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to fully address Accounts Payable issues
- Exercise integrity and transparency in upholding strong internal controls
