Selected as the Top Workplaces in Philadelphia for the past 13 years and headquartered in Montgomeryville, PA, MSS is currently searching for an Accounts Payable Associate. Our Accounts Payable Associates are responsible for processing vouchers and paying sub-contractors and vendors. In addition, they maintain subcontractor accounts through Great-Plains accounting software and an in-house proprietary application. Accounts Payable Associates are also responsible for expediting timely payments to subcontractors and communicating MSS payment policies and procedures to subcontractors and vendors.
Requirements
- Process invoices through proprietary Accounts Payable application, assuring invoices are billed correctly
- Meet daily voucher processing quota.
- Research and analyze subcontractor statements, assure we received invoices, and follow up with subcontractor when necessary
- Process wires, ACH’s and checks using Great-Plains Accounting Software
- Answer inquiries regarding unpaid or problem invoices
- Communicate with all other departments to insure accuracy of invoice information
- Make and receive phone calls to and from our subcontractors on a daily basis
- Reconcile Aged Accounts Payable Reports, MSS Subcontractor statements and unprocessed voucher reports
Hybrid/In-OfficeSchedule:
- This position offers flexibility to work adopt a hybrid schedule or work fully in-office at our Montgomeryville office.
- The initial 3 month training period will be an in-office schedule, with the ability to move to a hybrid schedule after training is completed.
- Weekly schedule of 8:00am-5:00pm.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or business field is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast pace work environment.
- Prior Accounts Payable experience is valued.
- Ability to work in-office for training with the flexibility of moving to a hybrid schedule.
