Position Purpose
Accounts Payable Clerk to take care of day-to-day account payables responsibilities
Nature & Scope
Reports to Accounts Payable Manager
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Receive, verify, and accurately process invoices and credits into SAP.
- Effectively work with company Buyers & Planners to resolve purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
- Review and reconcile all vendor statements for accuracy. Request any missing invoices/credit from vendors.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers & payments.
- Respond to all vendor inquiries via email or phone in a timely manner.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong Data Entry skills.
- 3+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable in Manufacturing industry or related field required.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable and general accounting procedures.
- Familiarity with accounting programs and software. Work experience in SAP is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment
- Subject to noise and temperature changes
