Job Description:
The Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk at Next Level Medical is responsible for processing and managing the organization's Accounts Payable transactions. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records that reflect our core values of Service-Excellence, Teamwork, Integrity, Innovation, and Compassion.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents for accuracy and completeness
- Process and record Accounts Payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Prepare and process check runs and electronic payments
- Assist in the month-end closing process and generate related financial reports
- Maintain vendor files, ensuring proper documentation and organization
- Support the Accounting Manager and other team members with various projects and tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
