Job Purpose
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the timely payment of all agency expenses, as well as complex clerical and entry level booking and accounting tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of accounting and clerical experience preferred.
Core Job Duties
- Process and code daily invoices to appropriate offices.
- Code and post approved payments.
- Assist other staff in processing data requests.
- Maintain Vendor data.
- Process tax forms.
- Remain involved in software upgrades as instructed.
- Communicate with vendors if the need arises.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in all Accounts Payable work.
- Assist Finance Team as needed.
- Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
- Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
- Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
- Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
- Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
