ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSOCIATE
Topix Skin Health is looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to join its Finance team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play an integral part in daily operations and the month-end close. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, growing company. HYBRID: 4 days In-Office, 1 day from home
Responsibilities:
- Enter A/P invoice vouchers, ensuring accuracy and detail of amounts, dates (General Ledger, Invoice, and Due), account coding and proper approval / legitimacy.
- Monitor the A/P e-mail inbox daily (must be highly organized).
- Match Purchase Order A/P invoices against inventory receivers and resolve exceptions with internal procurement department and external vendors.
- Assist with implementation of OCR/AI Accounts Payable automation tool.
- Maintenance of vendor records, including electronic filing of invoices, payment records, and form W9S, W8-BEN/BEN-Es, verifying that ERP system reflects accurate tax classification and tax ID.
· Communicate in a professional and timely manner and develop strong relationships with both vendors and employees.
- Act as a business partner to various internal departments to ensure their needs are addressed and invoices are processed on time.
- Assist with reconciliations between internal and external vendor statements as needed.
· Identify areas/opportunities for improvement and be a change agent to improve the performance of Accounts Payable team.
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years of strong AP experience, with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Accounts Payable, the General Ledger and Chart of Accounts, and 3-way matching.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related Business field highly preferred
· Extremely detail oriented with the ability to handle confidential data with discretion.
· Strong proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams), Microsoft Excel skills, etc. experience preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills – this role interacts with employees across multiple departments; the ability to be a team player and build relationships with internal customers and external vendors is a must. E-mail communication must be extremely professional.
· Comfortable with a fast paced, high-volume environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while adapting to changing priorities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
