Position: Accounts Payable Coordinator
Location: New York, NY
Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Coordinator functions as the Accounts Payable point of contact for a business unit or a set of vendors, working within the Controllers Group.
Responsibilities
- Code and batch invoices for processing by business unit / agency
- Review invoices to ensure the vendor is active, vendor record is up to date and confirm the invoice is not a duplicate
- Monitor queues in the document management system to follow up on issues that need to be resolved, working with the business unit / agency where necessary
- Assist with the processing of intercompany invoices
- Audit invoices and research unusual transactions; bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management as required
- Assist with wire initiating in the banking portal
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Adhere to GroupM / WPP policies & procedures to maintain compliance with section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
YOUR QUALIFICATION:
- 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Perceptive ImageNow preferred but not required
- Good technical and analytical skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work with people across multiple disciplines
- Ability to manage time and stress levels and work calmly under pressure

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $35,000 to $75,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
