Vanguard Fire & Security Systems, Inc. is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team at our headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI. This person must have exceptional organizational skills, an eye-for-detail, and the ability to multi-task.
They should be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and be willing to assume various responsibilities in relation to company growth.

Responsibilities:
Review invoices for accuracy and approval
Process payments to vendors
Communicating with vendors in regards to payments or discrepancies
Maintain the highest ethical standards at all times
Adhere to company policies
Accept other duties and tasks assigned with proven skills and abilities
Qualifications/Experience
Demonstrate an aptitude for finance, pricing, and general inventory
Previous experience processing and paying invoices
Exhibit intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities to interact with colleagues and executives
