Peoplelink Staffing Solutions – Clare, has partnered with an elite manufacturing facility located in Harrison, MI. We are in search of an EXPERIENCED Accounts Receivable/Accounts PayableClerk to join our team. You would be performing account and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Shift:Full Time/Part Time, 1st (hours may vary)
Pay: $17.00/hr.
Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk Job Summary:
- Review all vendor invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to processing, then Sort, code, & enter vendor invoices for payment.
- Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner, as well as Prepare and process cash receipts.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for the CFO, as required.
- Professionally communicate with customers, vendors, and colleagues
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Accounts Receivable/Payable ClerkSkills and Abilities:
- Ability to use AP/AR computer software programs. (experience with JobBoss is a PLUS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (needs the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, problem analysis, and problem solving.
- Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk Education and Experience:
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent and two years of accounting or bookkeeping work experience, OR 1-2 years’ experience as an AP/AR Clerk or any combination of experience skills and abilities .
