The credit union was originally founded in 1935 as the Kohrs Credit Union. Shortly thereafter the name changed to Oscar Mayer Credit Union after the Oscar Mayer Company purchased Kohrs. It was originally located inside of the Rockingham Road plant, in Davenport, IA.
As part of The Family Credit Union Team, the Accounting Clerk is responsible for:
- End of Month balancing
- ATM balancing
- ATM Disputes
- ACH Credits Balancing
- Corp Checks balancing
- CBL payments
- CTR/SAR filing
- Debit Card Fraud
- Balance/gap movements
- Gift card balance, order, movements to branches
- Financial/transactions monthly report
- Pay sales tax payable
- Pre-Paid/Asset Depreciation monthly movements
- Order CWS and fed cash tokens
- Visa Quarterly report
- Wires
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship building, money handling, customer service and negotiation skills.
- Sound decision-making and ability to organize and prioritize own duties.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to comply with the completion of assigned tasks and trainings.
- Education and experience required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of bank or credit union experience.
- Broad knowledge of credit union operations/lending procedures.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is preferred.
- Bilingual/Spanish is a plus.
- Pre-employment credit/background screenings are required.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
