The Accounting Audit Clerk is responsible for the daily revenue reporting of departments. Responsibilities include daily audits of revenues, cash drop verification, and tasks assigned by the Accounting Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Audit daily work for accuracy and investigate variances.
- Review daily reports.
- Adhere to department policies and procedures to ensure successful internal/external audits.
- Ensures standards of operating procedures are followed and met.
- Responsible for effective communication with all departments.
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety training as a condition of employment.
- Promote cooperative behavior and team efforts throughout the department and company.
- Periodically may be asked to complete Count Team duties such as emptying money and tickets from all slot machines, counting and bundling the money and tickets collected, emptying daily table games, and counting and bundling these monies and bundling monies from all other revenue centers.
- Ensure, maintain, and understand departmental compliance with federal and state-local regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. Combination for related experience or a combination of education and experience may be considered.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission License.
SKILLS
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate in English in all manners.
- Advanced mathematical comprehension required.
- Must have advanced Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook experience.
- Be a high-volume producer who is quality driven.
