Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, excellent math skills, and proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Perform account reconciliations and analysis
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues
- Provide support for audits and assist in preparing financial reports
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
-Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and general ledger accounts
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Excellent math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
