Accounting Assistant
TFM North America is a chemical wholesale company. We are seeking an experienced full-time accounting assistant. This position requires attention to details and high accuracy standards. The ideal candidates would be detail oriented and highly organized.
Responsibilities:
- Generate invoices, packing slips and POs in QuickBooks
- Assist on preparing financial reports
- Verify and post vendor invoices
- Perform AR and AP duties
- File sales tax and other local tax returns
- Assist on inventory managements
- Review and authorize monthly expense reimbursement reports
- Maintains an accurate filing and records keeping system
- Prepare accurate reports for upper management
- Performs other office works and accounting related duties as required and assigned
Qualifications:
- US work authorization (required)
- 2+ years accounting / bookkeeping experience (required)
- Accurate data entry, keyboard skills with type 45 WPM
- Proficient with Quickbooks, MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel – basic formula, etc.) and Google sheets
- Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated who is willing and able to take initiative and multitask
- Requires a great deal of flexibility to work effectively within an environment that has quickly changing deadlines
- Be able to handle multi-tasks

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
