Accounting Clerk

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and reliable. Have a strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Duties:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare and maintain financial documents, such as invoices, bills, and bank statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Perform credit analysis to assess customer creditworthiness
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Generate financial reports using accounting software (e.g., Sage, ADP, Workday)
- Conduct research on financial concepts as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information
- Maintain confidentiality of financial records

Requirements:
-College Student on track for Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Some work experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
- Knowledge of corporate accounting principles and procedures
- Experience in using accounting software Intuit QuickBooks Online.
- High level Trustworthy and confidentiality
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.74 - $24.98 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
