Form of workThe primary purpose of your position is to support theCFO and Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance/Accounting Department while maintaining confidentiality and organizationalvalues.

Primary Duties andResponsibilities
- Help Maintain and review Resident Trust reconciliations on a monthly Basis
- Perform regular detailed audits of Resident Trust transactions to make sure facilities are entering activity timely and following internal procedures
- Maintain and review petty cash reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Make sure Petty Cash account activity is compliant with company policies
- Preform Accounts Payable duties as requested
- Analyze monthly employee insurance invoices and report all discrepancies
- Prepare employee insurance payables for input into system
- Prepare General Ledger and Accounts Payable imports for upload within system
- Assist department with month end processes
- Prepare correspondence as needed within the department and to facilities
- Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time by the CFO or Controller
Must be self-motivated and capableof exceeding in a team environment.Must demonstrate accuracy in daily work and other projects.Must be proficient in use of Excel Spreadsheets and MS Word.Must demonstrate good criticalthinking, analytical, and communication skills.Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures.
Education and ExperienceHigh SchoolDiploma or GED required.
A minimum of 2-years'experience in a related business setting is required.Experience in Healthcare is a plus.
