Accounting Bookkeeper

Established developer and construction company in Citrus County is looking for an experienced Accounting Bookkeeper that is ready for long term career. The ideal candidate must be organized, responsible, and capable of working in a collaborative environment with the accounting team. Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Sage Timberline. Construction experience a-plus.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

• Posting bills, invoices, receipts and payments
• Reconciling monthly vendor statements
• Reconciling bank accounts
• Ready monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
• General ledger
• Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Manage monthly accounting close
• Adeptness in Job Cost

BookkeeperRequirements:

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping
• Must be self-motivated and self-directed.
• Must be accurate and pay precise attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills a plus.
• Should have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize.
• Should have strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports.
• Minimum of 3-5 years bookkeeping experience
• Must be proficient in Excel
• Must be highly organized and driven

Must live within a commutable distance to Citrus County.
