Our CPA and Accounting firm is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of small to medium-sized business accounting principles, is proficient in QuickBooks, and has excellent attention to detail. This position has a flexible schedule.
Duties:
- Review, Maintain & update general ledger accounts submitted by business owners
- Review journal entries and corresponding expenses
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Generate financial reports and assist with month-end close
- Maintain accurate records of data entry
- Support the preparation of financial and tax statements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
Experience:
-Working Knowledge around Tax Accounting
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks)
- Technical accounting skills, including knowledge of financial statement analysis
