Accountant

Kforce's client in the Jacksonville, FL area is looking for a highly skilled and experienced financial Accountant who will support the financial health of our organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and enhancing the effectiveness of internal controls and processes.
Responsibilities:
* Month-End and Year-End Close
* Prepare and post accurate and timely journal entries
* Reconciliations
* Financial Reporting
* Internal Controls* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* CPA certification preferred
* 3-5 years of experience in a related position preferred
* Proven experience in financial reporting and accounting roles, demonstrating a strong
understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices
* Proficiency in corporate accounting and internal controls
* Proficient use of SAP financial system
* Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications
