Summary
The Account Manager role is responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with clients. This includes understanding clients’ business knowledge, challenges, and opportunities. The role requires providing plans and services that allow clients to overcome their challenges and meet their goals. In addition, the Account Manager may provide service support. The role works directly with client contacts, account executives, sales, support teams, third parties, and others.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Primary contact for clients from the initial stages of onboarding to project delivery and ongoing support of services.
- Develop and build relationships with clients to best facilitate the implementation and management of the services that fit their individual goals.
- Provide services expertise and routinely communicate in meetings and/or communications on project progress and service updates.
- Ensure that the terms of a contract are adhered to by both parties.
- Execute and monitor day-to-day administration of tasks to assure clients’ success and satisfaction of services.
- Resolve clients’ problems and concerns independently or with appropriate team members. Including navigating complex issues, both technical and non-technical, and using sound judgment and data to make decisions that are best for clients.
- Identify new sales opportunities and provide details to the sales team to continuously grow clients’ services and relationships.
- Interact and support end users to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system and application functions. Referring unresolved grievances to appropriate individual(s) for further investigation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from a four-year college or university in a related field.
- 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a technology development or provider environment. For example, a SaaS.
- Insurance industry experience or knowledge in Property and Casualty (P&C), agencies, brokers, or another relevant sector.

- Knowledge of Microsoft products including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
