What You'll Do
You will help us launch a new product called Pendant (https://pendant.io/) to prospective business clients. Pendant is web-based software designed to help employers and HR groups promote their benefits to employees. The product has been under development for three years, and we've been successfully testing it with a select group of customers for six months. You will help us begin selling it in May.
Your job will include:
- Managing and closing sales opportunities with our current customer base (+900 banks and credit unions)
- Managing and closing inbound opportunities from new lead channels
- Promoting Pendant to new customers at conferences nationwide (i.e. job requires occasional travel)
- Helping with new sales processes
Who You Are
You're either an experienced Account Executive or you're eager to become one, and you have prior sales development experience. We're interested in individuals who like building things, like learning, and will make this a defining moment in their career. We expect you to be innovative, creative and flexible.
How You'll Stand Out
You will stand out by demonstrating that you can write and speak fluently to our customers about the software and how it solves their problems. You will be prepared to adapt often to new discoveries in the sales cycle. As a company, Banzai has developed and sold several brand-new products. In our experience, the sales professionals who thrive are those who can solve puzzles and articulate the solutions to others.
What Support Will You Have?
Lots. You will join a new, small sales team, and you will be expected to be self-reliant. But Pendant is the company's most important initiative—we will surround you with help. Your first leads will come from Banzai's current customer base, and support reps will help make introductions. A marketing group will develop an inbound channel, and they will also assist you with occasional trade conferences. You will report to a sales manager who will train you using proven, recorded training demos.
