Our Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students a hands-on and learning-intensive opportunity to gain relevant work experience at the #1 Direct Selling brand of Skin Care and Color Cosmetics in the World.Mary Kay interns participate in activities that introduce them to our people centered culture, our products, and the Independent Sales Force.
In addition to your daily responsibilities, the Mary Kay Internship Program offers several learning opportunities such as:

• A formal mentorship program

• Cross-functional projects
• Special events including the Mary Kay U.S. Seminar
• Networking opportunities with members of the executive team
The Opportunity We Provide:
The R&D teams at Mary Kay are passionate about science. They continuously research products that allow our consultants to offer their end-users an experience of unsurpassed quality and unrivaled benefit. The products we develop must make people feel confident about themselves and their choice of Mary Kay. Our research teams travel internationally, finding new ideas and presenting Mary Kay science on a worldwide stage. Our innovative teams include roles in product safety, product formulation, skin and clinical research, nutritionals, regulatory affairs, quality and other disciplines.
In the past, R&D interns have had the opportunity to work with teams such as:

Summer Program Details:
• All our internships are paid, starting at $20/ hour
• Our internships are Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, and require you to be in the office 4-5 days per week
• Our internships are located at our Global Headquarters in Addison, TX or Manufacturing/ R&D Facility in Lewisville, TX
• Interns will receive any required equipment, such as a laptop
• Mary Kay Inc does not offer sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based visas or any other work authorization for full time employment at this time

Strong intern candidates will have:
• Excellent written and communication skills
• The ability to facilitate communication between various groups to achieve quality objectives
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Quick learner
• Attention to details
• Data management and data organization skills
• Basic understanding of fundamental science concepts
• Strong critical thinking skills, teamwork and collaboration
• The ability to interpret data and knowledge on data systems (preferred, not required)
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must still be pursuing undergraduate or master's degree
• To be eligible you must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (undergraduate) or part time (graduate) as defined by your university at the time of application.
• Minimum Sophomore status. Rising juniors or seniors preferred.
• Preferred Degrees: Market Research, Chemistry, Biology, Data Science, Sensory Science, Life Science, Microbiology
What to Expect from the Application Process:
