Form of workIntermountain Electronics, Inc., is seeking a Warehouse Associate & Material Handler located at our South Point, OH facility. IE is a leading provider of custom engineered and manufactured process and electrical systems to the mining, oil & gas, and power/utility industries in North America. IEs turnkey products are generally mobile mounted on skids or in portable e-houses.
Our products include portable power/generators, substations, electrical control rooms (MCCs/VFDs/switchgear), water-flood/disposal buildings, compressor skids, metering equipment, mining power skids, LACT units, and other products used in the energy, oil & gas, and mining sectors. *Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. The essential duties of this position are: Warehouse 1.
Track, monitor and maintain point of use inventory on shop floor; Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed 2. Assemble/stage job carts for manufacturing and rebuild making sure: a. Boxes are organized and prepared to meet production schedule b.
Are accurate, containing all the required parts 3. Reads production schedule/ work order, to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed 4. Conveys materials and items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas.
5. Ensures items are stored in an orderly and accessible manner 6. Keeps warehouse clean by sweeping, dusting, collecting garbage 7.
Run errands as needed Other 8. Loads and unloads freight in an efficient and safe manner utilizing the appropriate tools and equipment 9. As requested, verify all receipts including purchase order ID and verify to packing slip and products received 10.
Research and reconcile receiving problems as requested 11. Act as support for Warehouse Clerks/Inventory Control Clerk 12. Perform cyclic counts and assist with inventory maintenance Tools and Equipment 1.
Safe use of overhead cranes, forklifts hoists, to assist in moving, unloading, and loading material 2. Operate misc. hand tools.
3. Properly care for and maintain tools in good operating condition; ensure tools and equipment is properly stored at the end of each shift. Other Essential Duties 1.
