POLISHING OPERATOR

JOB DESCRIPTIONSkiltrek is looking for 2 Polishing Operators to work for an end client in West Chicago, IL. The company is responsible for manufacturing doors and this team is responsible for new product development and sustainability projects for prototypes of these doors. This person would be responsible for insuring the integrity of the mold/die(s) by using specific hand tools, grinders, sanders, files, buffing wheels, and polishing techniques to remove marks and imperfections. There is 1 position that will be the day shift (7:30am-3:30pm) and 1 night shift (3:30pm-12am). He/she will be responsible for blueprint interpretation and be able to ensure a quality product. Is cost conscientious, schedule adherent, uses time efficiently, and is innovative.REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEAt Least a High School Diploma
At least 1 year of machine shop experience: CNC machines, Mold's, Die(s), industrial equipment, polishing, welding, etc.
Experience using tools: sanders, buffing wheels, files, cutters, grinders, calipers, micrometers, height indicators, etc.
Ability to be trained and work in an innovative environment
Ability to read blue prints and schematics.
Proficiency in measurement equipment to inspect workNICE TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCESome form of trade school, certifications, or college level of education
CNC experience
