RESPONSIBILITIES:
Structure and negotiate funding transaction with banks, hedge funds, private equity funds and others.
Meet with prospective clients to discuss potential funding arrangements.
Help maintain risk reporting for senior management and credit risk partners.
Maintain pipeline information about upcoming deals and prospective clients.
Prepare credit approval materials as well as presentations for clients and senior management.
Evaluate RWA, capital, and returns on capital for each transaction and streamline asset booking and monitoring process by structuring Total Return Swaps, CLO Warehouses, bilateral term facilities and Private Credit Financing Facilities using booking systems such as Loan Runner, reporting systems such as Trade Manager, and reporting from Trustees such as US Bank.
Work with clients and credit to manage credit concerns about portfolio concentrations, borrowing bases and fund needs. Analyze portfolio liquidity and volatility of US leveraged loan market by pulling loan and Total Return Swap time series data from Bloomberg and other sources in order to analyze historical volatility in programs.
Analyze comparable pricing and terms for similar transactions for each of our deals at the time of issuance utilizing BDC Reporting published on SEC and other sites with ability to review 10-Ks, 8-Ks, and 10-Qs as well as speaking to other market participants.
Evaluate impact of alternative deal structures on capital and liquidity treatment to propose multiple financing solutions to a client depending on the client’s fund structure, geographical location, and portfolio profile including Total Return Swaps, Loan to SPV format, and Repo transactions.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics, or related; and
4 years of experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.
Must include 4 years of experience in each of the following:
