Responsibilities:

• Responsible for risk management and trading activities with limited direction from more senior staff.

• Monitor workflow from front to back, including quotes, hedges, trades and downstream processes to minimize operational risks while optimizing market risk.

• Work closely with sales across varying time zones to get the "right price" to the "right client" given risk tolerance and balance sheet constraints.

• Generate replication strategies across asset classes and various Bond index replications.

• Conduct profit and loss and risk reconciliation.

• Build excel-based tools and quantitative systems to back-test and automate systematics trading strategies to maximize P&L and identify opportunities.

• Compose and distribute daily market commentaries and trade ideas both within and outside the firm.

• Provide market liquidity and expertise in Treasury securities to a diverse client base both domestically and internationally.

• Perform in-depth analysis of any existing relative value opportunity in the treasury market.

• Price off the run and on the run bonds across the curve.

• Price fair value of basis using wild card and switch assumptions as well as blackscholes model.

• Utilize Bloomberg, Reuters, and Microsoft Excel to monitor market data, draft business plans, and assess risk.

• Prepare detailed daily market summaries and analysis for the clients and senior management.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Mathematical Economics, Mathematics, Economics, or related; and

• 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related finance occupation.

• Must include 4 years of experience in each of the following:

• Providing market liquidity and expertise in Treasury securities to a diverse client base both domestically and internationally;

• Performing in-depth analysis of any existing relative value opportunity in the treasury market;

• Pricing off the run and on the run bonds across the curve;

• Pricing fair value of basis using wild card and switch assumptions as well as blackscholes model;
