Vice President / Senior Vice Presidentof Marketing
Location: Miami, FL (Relocation offered, Hybrid option available)
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a VP/SVP of Marketing with extensive experience in building IP brands, particularly in the toy industry. The ideal candidate will have a background with leading brands like Mattel, Warner Bros, and Disney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with company goals
- Drive digital and social media marketing campaigns, launches, and partnerships
- Experience in community management, engagement, and growth is important
- Identify and capitalize on new channel opportunities
- Working with the Head of Growth, Community Manager, and co-founders
- Manage a significant marketing budget
Qualifications:
- 8-10+ years in brand marketing
- Proven track record in building successful IP brands
- Knowledge of conventional brand strategies and conventions/trade shows
- Startup mindset
- Experience building traditional toy brands and conventional brands
- A basic understanding of NFTs, blockchain technology, and the cryptocurrency space
- Understanding trends, pop culture, and what resonates with the broader consumer base, especially in toys and entertainment
- Understanding of business operations, strategic planning, and financial acumen
- Living, willing to travel or relocate near Miami
Compensation:
- $200,000+ salary, bonuses, and benefits.
