We are a leading property management company seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Vice President to oversee our multifamily portfolioin various states. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a multifamily portfolio, ensuring operational excellence and financial performance.
- Develop and implement lease-up and stabilization plans for properties within the portfolio.
- Hold staff accountable to budgets and operational standards.
- Review and assess financial reports, making strategic decisions to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and tenant satisfaction is high.
- Provide leadership and support to on-site property managers and staff.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations.
- Operate with a sense of urgency, committing to deadlines and organizational goals.
- Work weekly to assess budget compliance, check and vendor approvals, and otherwise manage site payables
- Track and oversee staff training and compliance modules.
- Assist in recruiting and hiring local staff as required.
- Manage basic day to day financial and operational business components.
Qualifications:
- Must reside in Charleston, WV or be willing to relocate (relocation assistance available).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive property management experience.
- Proven track record in managing multifamily properties, with a focus on lease-up and stabilization.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial analysis.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and hold staff accountable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in property management software (Buildium preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and commitment to deadlines and goals.
