POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Vice President of Contract Sales reports to the General Manager.
- Located in Omaha, NE or Lenexa, KS

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President of Contract Sales is responsible for growing foodservice Equipment Salesand EBITDA. The VP, Contract Sales is directly responsible for providing strategic oversight to the sales team, providing employee development, driving revenue growth and market expansion. Plays a pivotal role in Team leadership, building strong customer relationships, and exploring new business opportunities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide day-to-day oversight and management of all aspects of the Contract Sales department.
- Develop and execute sales strategies through analysis, innovation, and continuous improvement to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Set sales targets and forecast sales volumes.
- Track, analyze, and present sales metrics.
- Communicate vision, values, strategy, and direction as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with key customers, vendors, and organizational staff.
- Devise plan, and deliver on, increased margins on customer by customer, and job/sale by job/sale basis.
- Conduct regular and timely reviews on accounts, to evaluate clients' demands; identify and address any, and all service gaps while maintaining adherence to meeting organizational objectives.
- Develop, mentor, and hold team accountable for meeting objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and best practices.
- Team with internal departments as needed, to address any customer, or service-related issues throughout the customer experience process.
- Obtain full working knowledge of rebates, sheltered income, and discount mastery.
- Remain current on product knowledge through attendance of sales meetings, vendor trainings, reading industry related publications, and participating in industry related professional organizations.
- Additional duties as assigned or evolve.
COMPETENCIES:
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a large sales teams.

- Proven success in building long-term and growing relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, & Outlook.
- Excellent communications skills both written and oral.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to take initiative.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Maintain professional appearance and presence.
- Ability to travel 25% or more.
- Strong background in Food Service industry.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record with reliable transportation.
- Due to customer schedules, need to be flexible in working evenings or weekends if necessary.
- Understanding of integrated systems.
- Proficiency with order entry system (AutoQuotes, FACTS 7.7).
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Business, Marketing, or related field or Culinary Degree, Master's in Business or Marketing preferred, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
- 10 years business-business sales experience with multimillion-dollar customers.
- 10 years industry related experience, preferably in Foodservice/Hospitality industry
- Experience in a distribution environment.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.
In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
