- This position, Enterprise Applications and Digital Product Development will be responsible for both clinical and business enterprise applications to support the organization's strategic plan.
- The VP will oversee the enhancement, deployment, and growth of the Epic EMR (electronic medical record) and associated clinical applications, which serves as the foundational technology to help improve the quality and efficiency of patient care.
- The VP will oversee the enhancement, deployment, and growth of business applications and development and other applications which services as the foundational technology to help improve the management of day-to-day business activities such as accounting, procurement, human resources.
- This includes ownership of the IT operations, as well as all other application systems across the enterprise. The VP, Enterprise Applications and Digital Product Development will also develop long-term technology strategic plans based on alignment with and support for the organization's strategies and goals. They will provide expert counsel and guidance to senior management on business, education and clinical issues as seen through an IT lens, across the full range of organization strategy, clinical programs, business systems and services, and operations issues.
- The VP, Enterprise Applications and Digital Product Development will work collaboratively with the CIO, CMIO, and key business leaders to develop strategic initiatives to meet emerging needs identified in the organization's strategic plan, as well as deliver solutions to meet current requirements and key initiatives. They will work collaboratively with the IT leadership team to establish and execute business-aligned technology roadmaps that promotes efficiency. VP, Enterprise Applications and Digital Product Development will oversee application portfolio management to ensure the most effective and cost-efficiency use of applications and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.
- Recommend, champion, and implement clinical and business applications as well as process improvements related to enterprise application selection, utilization, and implementation.
- Develop long-term technology strategic plans based on alignment with and support for the organization's strategies and goals.
- Direct the definition, architecture, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of application systems, which drive and enable organization objectives.
- Support and provide focus on all integration activities and set integration strategies and drive standardization to one single platform.
- Work collaboratively with the CMIO and Informatics to prioritize clinical application work assignments and work together to develop vendor strategies for future products.
- Work with business leaders to understand their strategic and emerging needs, as well as their current requirements and key initiatives.
- Integrate technology and application strategy into the clinical and business' long-range plans and identify opportunities that add long-term value.
- Serve as a trusted technology and service advisor to senior leadership.
- Work collaboratively with CISO and CTO to develop an integrated strategy for the IT organization.
- All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. Bachelor's DegreeComputer Science or Business Management is required.Master's Degree is preferred.
- 10+ years with information systems and EHRs with at least five years of leadership experience implementing and managing integrated EHR and ERP in a complex health system; Epic and ERP experience required. Community Connect Experience preferred. Five (5) or more years of experience in cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organization design and development. Experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments preferred. Experience implementing and supporting data integration platforms and Enterprise Service technologies. Experience as a business focused, change driven and credible leader in a complex healthcare system. Experience managing multiple complex systems implementation projects with depth of experience in application portfolio management is required. Innovative and modern approaches to lead our application and solutions delivery teams supporting our clinical and business applications is required.
