Veterinary Receptionist

Hatton Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our Elk Grove team!

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have prior experience as a Veterinary Receptionist (or similar animal care and customer service experience).

We’re Looking For:

• Team players with exceptional communication and multi-tasking abilities
• Detail-oriented individuals with great organizational skills
• Personable and professional individuals who enjoy connecting with clients as well as the team
• Individuals who take initiative and are willing to lend a helping hand
• Individuals with veterinary software knowledge (AVImark) and/or prior experience working with animals
• Must be available to work Monday – Saturday (five 8-hour shifts with alternating Saturdays)

Responsibilities:

• Client service and communication
• Welcoming and discharging patients
• Managing phone lines
• Booking appointments
• Setting up new clients and patients
• Over-the-counter sales and financial transactions
• General front desk duties (email, faxing, filing, etc.)
• Monitoring flow of work through hospital
